چکیده
Soil water content (SWC) plays a vital role in the process of evapotranspiration (ET) rubber plantations. To investigate influence ET on soil balance plantations, we measured SWC at depths 10, 20, 30, 40, 70, 100, 130 cm, characteristics root density distribution, and estimated deep percolation plantation Xishuangbanna using Hydrus-1D model. Our results indicate model can accurate simulate dynamics 0–130 cm plantations with Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency Coefficient (NSE) was 0.80–0.96, Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) 0.05–0.02, Pearson Correlation (R) 0.82–0.97. Obviously, there were seasonal variation moisture changes Xishuangbanna. The storage (SWS) dropped to its lowest value 194 mm reached maximum 504 from dry season rainy season. simulated 1166.1 mm. large uptake utilization by affects or exacerbates drought leads shortage regional resources.

Variation of Soil Bacterial Communities in a Chronosequence of Rubber Tree (Hevea brasiliensis) Plantations
Regarding rubber tree plantations, researchers lack a basic understanding of soil microbial communities; specifically, little is known about whether or not soil microbial variation is correlated with succession in these plantations. In this paper, we used high-throughput sequencing of the 16S rRNA gene to investigate the diversity and composition of the soil bacterial communities in a chronoseq...
متن کاملSoil Carbon Stocks Decrease following Conversion of Secondary Forests to Rubber (Hevea brasiliensis) Plantations
Forest-to-rubber plantation conversion is an important land-use change in the tropical region, for which the impacts on soil carbon stocks have hardly been studied. In montane mainland southeast Asia, monoculture rubber plantations cover 1.5 million ha and the conversion from secondary forests to rubber plantations is predicted to cause a fourfold expansion by 2050. Our study, conducted in sout...
متن کاملMapping Rubber Plantations and Natural Forests in Xishuangbanna (Southwest China) Using Multi-Spectral Phenological Metrics from MODIS Time Series
We developed and evaluated a new approach for mapping rubber plantations and natural forests in one of Southeast Asia’s biodiversity hot spots, Xishuangbanna in China. We used a one-year annual time series of Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS), Enhanced Vegetation Index (EVI) and short-wave infrared (SWIR) reflectance data to develop phenological metrics. These phenological m...

Rubber tree breeding and the dissemination of planting material for plantations are closely linked to propagation methods. Since the progress made by switching from multiplication by seed to propagation by bud...
متن کاملA simple framework to analyze water constraints on seasonal transpiration in rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis) plantations
Climate change and fast extension in climatically suboptimal areas threaten the sustainability of rubber tree cultivation. A simple framework based on reduction factors of potential transpiration was tested to evaluate the water constraints on seasonal transpiration in tropical sub-humid climates, according pedoclimatic conditions. We selected a representative, mature stand in a drought-prone a...
